


Design test. Was asked to choose one out of six briefs to create a social-media appropriate visual. I chose the topic "Flipping the script on gender equality: The HeForShe Movement: Background: On September 20, 2014, the launch of the HeForShe initiative flipped the script on the women’s right movement, inviting men and boys to be equal partners in efforts towards gender equality. Men’s powerful voices rippled across the globe in late 2014 in response to an impassioned rallying call by British actor and UN Women Global Goodwill Ambassador, Emma Watson – which mobilized more than 100,000 men in just three days, and at least one man in every country in the world within the first five – culminating in more than 1.2 BILLION conversations on social media. Twitter declares, HeForShe one of the most catalytic moment in 2014 and with that the HeForShe movement was born." My purpose with the visuals is to both inform as well as recruit. I do not own the photos used in this design.
